Update August 1, 2016:

As many are aware EDCARP has filed a lawsuit against the Board of Supervisors and the County of El Dorado to stop the implementation of Measure E. We have been working with County staff and appreciate their effort to implement Measure E as intended by the voters of El Dorado County.

Remember the title of our voter approved 2004 General Plan: “A Plan for Managed Growth and Open Roads; A Plan for Quality Neighborhoods and Traffic Relief.”

Apparently we will have to continue this fight to retain that promise and that will require financing. If every person who voted Yes on Measure E would send in $10, we would have the funds necessary to hire the best legal counsel available to defend Measure E from the deep pockets of the developers.

We appreciate all who have continued to support us in protecting our rural quality of life.
