Our Planning Commission denied them in February. Then they went before the BOS and they approved the Sunset Lane billboard (only smaller). The applicant appealed the decision today for all the submitted proposals and the BOS approved. BOS also took out the sunset clause, so now they are here to stay. Anyone want to challenge them on CEQA violations. These signs do not adhere to our General Plan guidelines in regards to view sheds, and aesthetics, etc.

Not a word about the approval of the three Shingle Springs/Cameron Park billboards in this Mt. Democrat article. It’s all about the moratorium vote after they approved the others.
