EDH Townhall Meeting 7/29 on Old Golf Course

At their regular monthly meeting on Thursday July 9th, the El Dorado Hills Community Services District (EDHCSD) voted 4-0 (with Billy Vandegrift abstaining) to approve 3 documents related to preserving the old EDH Executive Golf Course as Open Space.

• The first document approved was a Board resolution defining the purpose for submitting the ballot measure
• The second document approved was the Advisory Vote Ballot Measure Label Language, which has since been accepted by County elections and will be Measure E on the November 3rd 2015 special ballot as a non-binding advisory vote.
• The third document submitted was the Recommended Ballot Measure Proponent Argument Statement.

The ‘ParksNotParker’ coalition will be holding its first public Townhall meeting on the Measure on Wednesday July 29th @ 6:30 PM in the El Dorado Hills Fire Station #85 (Corner of EDH Blvd and Wilson Way) conference room. The residents of EDH are encouraged to attend and get involved.
