IT IS TIME TO TAKE A STAND

WE GIVE UP – being nice!

For several decades and thousands of man hours, the residents of El Dorado County have tried working with the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Department to protect the county’s voter-approved General Plan and other voter-approved measures that now control growth, limit traffic, and protect open space.

THIS HAS NOT WORKED!

The residents have not been heard no matter what documentation or requests the people provided in the planning process.

A coalition of citizen groups have united to do the only thing that forces county government to listen:  litigation in the courts.

WE ARE ASKING YOU TO STAND WITH US IN THIS EFFORT

To proceed and hold the Board of Supervisors accountable for their abuse of discretionary power, we need your support and monetary contributions to a LEGAL DEFENSE FUND to challenge speculator/developers who benefit from public subsidies and favored decisions by the Board of Supervisors.

This task we are embarking on is not an easy one, but we feel, after much consideration and exhaustion of remedies, litigation is our only recourse.

We hope you will join us in this endeavor to save our county, our property values, and our way of life.

Please donate what you can to the cost of our representation in court so we will be heard.

OUR REPRESENTATIVES HAVE FAILED US

Their excuses are no longer reasonable in delaying our requests while moving the Speculator’s projects forward.
